After a great week of tennis, Casper Ruud is in another ATP final. It’s pretty crazy to think that he has never won a tournament above the 250 level. I mean, he’s been in 2 Grand Slam finals.

However, despite Ruud’s decent form lately, I think Alex De Minaur is just a better player as of now. He’s one of the most improved player the last year or so, I can really see him as a top 5 player this year. De Minaur is just incredibly consistent, and is a nightmare for any opponent.

There will be long rallies, but I think De Minaur is just the better baseline player and will come up top in most of them. Ruud will need to serve really good to win this match, that’s the only advantage he has over the Australian number 1.
