The wonderkid Jakub Mensik had his real breakthrough last week when he went to the final in Qatar after beating players like Rublev, Fokina, Monfils and Murray.

Born in 2005, I can already say that he will become a top 5 player in a couple of years. His ball striking is incredible, and overall a very complete player.

It may be too early for Mensik to replicate his success two weeks in a row, but I still think he should be the favorite in this matchup against Borna Coric.

Coric haven’t been playing at this best for quite some time now, and while he’s still a good player, I think Mensik already has surpassed him level wise.

I’m playing Mensik as the underdog in this matchup at 2.15, I think he’s the slight favorite in this match.
